A Cooler Yishun, Together, a Citizens’ Circle

How can we care for one another and thrive in our communities as temperatures rise? ☀️

📢 Calling all residents who live, work, play or volunteer in Yishun! Join us for A Cooler Yishun, Together, a Citizens’ Circle that brings Yishun residents together to learn how heat affects our neighbourhoods, discover how our communities can better adapt to hotter days, and turn ideas into community action.

Activity 1:
👟 Choose one Community Walk
📅 5 Sep 2026 (Sat), 9.30–11.30am or 4–6pm

Explore Yishun’s hotter and cooler spaces, or hear stories about how heat affects different neighbours and the resources that help us adapt.

Activity 2:
💡 Idea Jam for a Cooler Yishun
📅 12 Sep 2026 (Sat), 1.30–4.30pm @ Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre

Come back together to share what you discovered, generate ideas, and identify the people, places and resources that can help bring them to life.

If you are curious about how heat affects everyday life in the Yishun neighbourhood, or keen to support and strengthen neighbourly ties amidst rising temperatures, this Citizens' Circle is for you!
