Chingay 2026 Tickets Giveaway (16 to 22 February 2026)

  1. The Chingay 2026 Tickets Giveaway (16 to 22 February 2026) (the “Contest”) is organised by the Singapore Government Partnerships Office (“SGPO”), a department of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (“MCCY”), and administered by Xodbox Pte Ltd (“XODBOX”) (collectively, “Organisers”). By participating in the Contest, you agree to these terms and conditions, including any changes to them from time to time (the “Terms and Conditions”), and you agree to abide by the decisions of the Organisers regarding this Contest.

  2. MCCY may change the Terms and Conditions and modify, cancel, or suspend the Contest in its sole discretion at any time without liability to anyone and without notice, save that notice of any cancellation or suspension of the Contest will be posted on the same platforms where the Contest was first publicised.

  3. The Contest is open to all Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents residing in Singapore with a valid LinkedIn or Instagram account. Employees or representatives of MCCY and XODBOX are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

  4. The Contest starts on 16 February 2026, 11:00am and ends on 22 February 2026, 11:59pm (UTC+8) (“Contest Period”). Only Entries (as defined in clause 5 below) submitted during the Contest Period will be eligible for consideration.

  5. To participate in this Contest, you must complete the steps required as set out below:
    (a)  Follow the Singapore Government Partnerships Office (SGPO) on LinkedIn (@singaporegovernmentpartnershipsoffice) or Instagram (@our_sg);
    (b)  ‘Like’ the LinkedIn post by SGPO or Instagram post by Our SG – Home of Forward SG containing the Contest details (referred to as a “Contest Post”);
    (c)  In the comments section of the Contest Post, tag an inspiring person or organisation that inspires you (e.g., a partner for a community project, a volunteer, or someone running a ground-up initiative); and
    (d)  In the same comment, share in one sentence how they made a difference in the community and share a public accessible link to their story (e.g. an article on what he/she has done for the community).

    Completion of the steps above on the respective platform will be considered as an “Entry”.

  6. Each person may only submit one (1) Entry per platform, and will only be eligible to win one (1) Prize (as defined in clause 8 below). Where the Organisers become aware of multiple Entries from the same person on the same platform, only the earliest valid Entry will be considered.

  7. You are solely responsible and liable for any LinkedIn or Instagram comments made under your name, username, or profile.

  8. The Organisers will randomly select five (5) winners from eligible Entries on LinkedIn and five (5) winners from eligible Entries on Instagram (each a “Winner” and collectively, “Winners”).
    (a)  Each Winner on Instagram will receive one (1) pair of Sector B/C tickets to the Chingay Parade 2026, Day 1 for 27 February 2026; and
    (b)  Each Winner on LinkedIn will receive one (1) pair of Sector B/C tickets to the Chingay Parade 2026, Day 2 for 28 February 2026 (each a “Prize” and collectively, “Prizes”).

    Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable for cash or in kind. The resale of the Prizes are strictly prohibited. The Organisers reserve the right to replace the Prizes with an alternative prize of equivalent value without giving any prior notice or reason.

  9. All decisions made by the Organisers relating to the Contest are final. The Organisers are not obliged to provide reasons concerning the selection of Winners or entertain any appeals whatsoever.

  10. Winners will be announced in the comments section of each Contest Post. Winners will also be contacted by the Organisers through the Singapore Government Partnerships Office LinkedIn (@singaporegovernmentpartnershipsoffice) or Our SG – Home of Forward SG Instagram (@our_sg) account via Direct Message (“DM”) by 24 February 2026. Winners must ensure that they remain contactable through the account they have used to submit their Entry.

  11. Each Winner must complete an online acknowledgment form (“Form”) through the hyperlink to be provided by MCCY in the DM. If a Winner does not respond to the DM, or does not complete the Form by 25 February 2026, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited all rights to the Prize.

  12. The Organisers will have the right, at any time, to verify the details provided by a Winner through the Form, the validity of Entries, and the eligibility of the Winners (including but not limited to requesting that the Winner produce proof of citizenship or permanent residence before the Prize can be claimed). The Organisers may disqualify any Entry that is not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or which tampers with the process of submitting an Entry.

  13. The Organisers may select another eligible Entry to replace any Winner whom the Organisers have, in their sole discretion, determined to be ineligible or disqualified, or who is uncontactable or does not claim the Prize within the timelines specified in clause 11. The Organisers will not be liable to the originally selected Winner.

  14. Prizes will be delivered via email only to the email address submitted in the Form. Winners are also required to acknowledge receipt of their Prize via DM within 1 calendar day of delivery.

  15. It is your responsibility to ensure that your personal details submitted through the Form are accurate and complete. The Organisers will bear no responsibility or liability towards any Winner in the event any Prize is forfeited due to the provision of inaccurate or incomplete information.

  16. You agree that MCCY may collect, use and disclose your personal data as provided to MCCY to such other parties as may be necessary for the purposes of:
    (a)  administering the Contest; and
    (b)  in relation to your participation in the Contest, including but not limited to publicly disclosing your LinkedIn or Instagram handle, name, profile picture, and your Entry.

  17. The Organisers will have no liability towards you for any claims, demands, causes of action or damages which you may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to:
    (a)  the administration of the Contest;
    (b)  your Entry; and
    (c)  any loss suffered by the Winner as a result of redemption, use or enjoyment of the Prize.
